Smithsonian’s National Air & Space Museum
“Wow!” That’s what many visitors say when they enter the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center, one of northern Virginia’s favorite museums. The Center’s more than 346,000-square-foot exhibit space features thousands of iconic spacecraft and aircraft outlining the history of aviation. Artifacts include Space Shuttle Discovery, an Air France Concorde, the B-29 Superfortress Enola Gay, and the last remaining World War I-era Sopwith Camel.
