Pelican Personal Utility Go Case

As it turns out, I don’t carry a purse. I have pockets, of course … unless I’m at the beach or the pool. And even with pockets, I can’t protect all my stuff from the elements if I’m kayaking, fishing, hiking, or—god forbid—camping.

But now I have a Go Case, which is waterproof, crushproof, sandproof, and drop-proof. I surveyed my colleagues to find out what they would use a Go Case for, and they gave me a good list:

  • Phone
  • Keys—car, house, or hotel
  • Earbuds
  • Wallet/cash/credit card
  • Driver’s license
  • Contact case/glasses
  • Fishing lures
  • Medication
  • Matches

I had fun field-testing this case, which comes in six colors. It floats (unless you load it with rocks, I discovered), and I even submerged it with a piece of newspaper inside to see if it would stay dry. It did. And so will your phone, keys, earbuds, driver’s license …

I don’t carry a purse, but I will gladly carry a Go Case (or maybe use a carabiner clip) and protect my stuff.
