During a trip to southeastern Pennsylvania’s Lancaster County, travelers have a range of things to discover, from Amish attractions and covered bridges to antique shops and musical theaters. When it comes time for them to choose a place to spend the night, here are three diverse properties.

Lancaster Arts Hotel

Situated in a building that dates back to the 1880s, the hotel is on the U.S. Register of Historic Places. The downtown property features unique and upscale furnishings in its 63 well-appointed rooms and suites. True to its name, the Lancaster Arts Hotel has an in-house art gallery that showcases paintings by local artists; additional works are displayed on the walls of other common areas. Email Travis Stevens to learn more.

Heritage Hotel Lancaster

The property’s more than 160 rooms and suites are all equipped with mini refrigerators, microwaves, and flat-screen TVs, and include free Wi-Fi. Travelers can grab a bite to eat at the imaginative, treehouse-inspired Loxley’s Restaurant, which has plenty of outdoor dining space. A recent renovation also added more than 5,000 square feet of meeting space. Email Jennifer Markle to learn more.

Country Inn of Lancaster

Located just off the Lincoln Highway, this quaint property offers a range of amenities. Many of the rooms have porches with rocking chairs, where guests can wind down after a day of sightseeing. They also can enjoy the heated pool and whirlpool spa, an on-site restaurant, and complimentary beverages—including hot apple cider each autumn—in the lobby. Email Barry H. Kidd to learn more.
