A few things come to mind when formulating a list of must-do New York City things: See the Statue of Liberty. Visit Central Park. Stroll the boroughs. And on that list—possibly at the top—is to see a show on Broadway.

The Big Apple’s reputation for live theater is earned every week as plays and musicals delight thousands day in and day out. There are many companies across the city that have groups covered when it comes to new and tried-and-true shows, behind-the-scenes tours and experiences, and ticketing packages and discounts. Here is a look at four of them:

Broadway Inbound

Broadway Inbound helps professional travel buyers plan Broadway experiences. It offers workshops, behind-the-scenes tours, and other educational resources, as well as tickets. For more information, email Peter Waugh or go to broadwayinbound.com.

“Chicago” the Musical–National Artists Management Company

“Chicago” is the longest-running American musical in Broadway history. The show, which is performed at the Ambassador Theatre, is filled with catchy songs and spectacular choreography. To learn more, email Ken Sperr or go to chicagothemusical.com.

“Harry Potter and the Cursed Child”

In J.K. Rowling’s new story, Harry Potter is grown with three children—one of whom faces a struggle with his family legacy—and the show, staged at the Lyric Theatre, brings back Harry’s longtime friends. For more information, email Joe Tropia or go to harrypottertheplay.com.

Roundabout Theatre Company

The company’s repertoire of diverse show offerings ranges from classics to cultivated works. Groups receive exclusive discounts and have access to dedicated post-show workshops. To learn more, email Madeline Hurley or go to roundabouttheatre.org.
