The Fulton Theatre in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, sets the stage for many experiences in the arts—from comedies and dramas to musical productions.
“This is what I call the ‘hidden gem’ of Lancaster County,” says Group Sales Manager Lisa Hall. “We’re located in the heart of downtown Lancaster, and with our Broadway-quality shows and our historic backstage tours, you don’t want to miss us.”
The Fulton is central Pennsylvania’s oldest professional regional theatre, and the company employs professional directors, designers, playwrights, and actors from all over the U.S. to put together a multitude of high-caliber shows. The location is a 167-year-old national historic landmark with notable ornate Victorian architecture, situated within walking distance of the Lancaster’s historical downtown.
Groups of 10 or more can take a one-hour tour of the theater, and those are based upon the show schedule. Participants can learn the rich history of the theater, take a peek backstage, and see how the artists and administrators generate the company’s theatrical productions today. Some of the shows slated for early 2020 are “Kinky Boots,” “Titanic,” and “Jersey Boys.”
