The Ray Stevens CabaRay Showroom is one of the latest performance venues added to the dazzling spectrum of country music attractions in Nashville.
“When visiting Nashville, the Grand Ole Opry, Country Music Hall of Fame, and Ryman Auditorium have always been must-see stops on any itinerary, and Ray Stevens CabaRay Showroom adds to that list,” says Director of Sales Amy Russell.
Stevens, the multiple Grammy award-winning songwriter, singer, producer, and musician, performs live onstage with his band Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings at 7:30 p.m. for a 90-minute concert of his iconic hits—with some comedy weaved in.
“As you already know, (he) is a funny guy,” Russell says. “In true Ray Stevens style, he doesn’t hold back on inserting many comedic moments.”
The venue, owned by Stevens, encompasses a state-of-the-art showroom with a piano lounge, premium dining and beverage service, a gift shop, a recording studio, television production facilities, and an office complex. Stevens chose décor that pays homage to the musicians, songwriters, and artists who have helped Nashville become Music City—as well as the six legendary producers who greatly impacted his longtime career.
Russell says the showroom can accommodate groups of any size, featuring dinner service for 500 on the main floor and theater seating on the balcony level for 200. Dinner precedes the show, and guests can enjoy live music in the piano bar from 5 p.m. until showtime, as well as after the show until the venue closes.
“Ray Stevens CabaRay Showroom offers a one-of-a-kind experience: excellent food and drink service prior to fantastic shows in a Vegas-style showroom, up close and personal with your favorite artists,” Russell says.
And during the holiday season, groups can enjoy Stevens’ Christmas Show. The shows’ ticket prices include balcony seating and drinks; dinner and main show seating; and VIP seating with dinner.
