When we think of Las Vegas, we think of the bright lights of the Strip, diverse entertainment, and the incomparable nightlife. It’s just so … exciting.
So it’s no surprise that new and thrilling offerings for Vegas visitors are always in the works, and a couple of the latest come from Pink Adventure Tours and Maverick Helicopters.

Pink Adventure Tours
The company, with its signature fleet of pink Jeeps, offers a variety of guided all-terrain excursions. One of its newest options is the Eldorado Canyon Gold Mine Tour. Departing from Vegas, groups travel to Eldorado Canyon in a pink Tour Trekker to see the underground Techatticup gold mine. The Wild West experience is full of stories of the men who walked (and dug up) the area in search for their fortunes, as well as those of devastating floods and claim jumping. The mine operated from 1861 to 1942, and a local expert is on-site to tell its shining tales. While there, visitors can see a private collection of vintage cars, Hollywood film backdrops, and a gift shop.

A remarkable piece of the tour is the unmistakable southern Nevada landscape. The jeep journey takes visitors through the desert, just a short drive from the mine, to Nelson’s Landing, which is home to notable geological formations that lead to an overlook of the beautiful Colorado River. All group sizes can be accommodated. For more information, email Leslie McLean or go to pinkadventuretours.com.

Maverick Helicopters
The company has partnered up with Lip Smacking Food Tours to craft a five-hour trip called Savory Bites & Neon Lights. Guests gather at ARIA Resort & Casino, then head out for a guided walking tour down the Las Vegas Strip, passing by well-known Sin City spots and learning their histories. They’ll visit three to four distinct restaurants—with no wait times or reservations—where they’ll taste-test signature dishes and sip creative cocktails.

Following the culinary experience, guests are taken in a luxury limo coach to Maverick’s terminal to board “the limousine of the sky,” an ECO-Star helicopter. The 15-minute flight takes them high above the Strip for incredible views of the sites and lights from the sky. They can spot the iconic Eiffel Tower, Caesar’s Palace, Bellagio, MGM Grand, and the historical downtown. Once the chopper has landed, they’re transported back to their respective hotels.
